Description
Wild Clover: Trifolium pratense. Also known as red clover, cow grass, three-leaf grass, bee bread, meadow trefoil, common trefoil and purple clover. Found the world over, this flowering plant is often one of the first available food sources for pollinators, and remain an important food course for them throughout the year. They are edible and the flowers are commonly used to make herbal teas while the leaves are a unique choice for salads and garnish. They are prized in some areas as an alternative medicine, and are valued in agriculture for their nitrogen-fixing, which helps to increase soil fertility.
Wild Clover is a light to mid-toned violet-pink shade, reminiscent of the colour of red clover flowers. It has a matte finish.
